This was an attempt to capture the spleandor and awsomness of a ring system from one of its moon viewpoints. I later added a figure to give a sense of scale.

Now this is a extremely awesome scenery right here! Man, the saturn-like planet in the back looks so amazing and beautiful at the same time. That's what makes the whole thing. Wow! Very awe inspiring digital painting here. It make me want to paint something like this!

This is a very striking image. Bold and ballsy. I like it. You mention lower down in the comments that you are inspired by Syd Mead - I can see that influence.

The only thing I would change is the angle of the shadow on the gas-giant rings. Without the atmospheric perspective, this is the only que that the planet is far away relative to the foreground and so the shadow would cast differently.
